Meet the Woodland Heights Team
Dr. Omar
DDS
Dr. Omar Alhmoud is a highly skilled dentist who brings a wealth of experience to Woodland Heights Dental. Originally from Jordan, he earned his dental degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed an international dental program at Loma Linda University, where he received the prestigious fixed prosthodontics award.
Dr. Alhmoud has practiced in various settings, gaining expertise in general dentistry, sedation dentistry, implant placement, oral surgery, and full mouth rehabilitation. He is committed to continuing education and is pursuing a Fellowship of the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Alhmoud enjoys spending time with loved ones and playing sports. He is excited to be a part of the Woodland Heights Dental team and serve the community.
Amy L
Amy is a dental hygienist who joined Woodland Heights Dental in 2021. She graduated from Sinclair College's Dental Hygiene Program in 1989 and has been helping patients understand their oral health for over 30 years. Amy enjoys connecting with her patients and educating them. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on her horse farm with her husband, their animals, and her grandchildren.
Patty
Patty is a dental assistant who graduated from MCJVS in 1982. She has been a dedicated member of the Woodland Heights Dental team for 28 years and values the practice's commitment to patient care and advanced technology. Patty enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
Lisa
Lisa is a dental hygienist who joined Woodland Heights Dental in 2021. Lisa earned her dental hygiene degree from Sinclair College in 1994. She brings over 25 years of experience to her role, where she focuses on patient education. Lisa also serves as office manager. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Amy J
Amy has been a valued member of the dental team since 2010. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them with their dental needs. Originally from Ohio, Amy has lived in Eaton since 1999. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and relaxing at the lake.
Shelly
Shelly is a valued member of the Woodland Heights Dental team with 35 years of experience in the dental field. Since 1998, she has served in various roles, including dental assisting. Shelly enjoys the team atmosphere and helping out wherever needed. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and pets.
Morgan
Morgan is a dental hygienist at Woodland Heights Dental. She began her dental career in 2015 and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Sinclair Community College in 2018. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, going to the beach, exploring new restaurants, and being outdoors.
Karla
Karla is a dental assistant who graduated from Montgomery County Joint Vocational School in 1993. She joined Woodland Heights Dental in 1995 and loves making patients feel comfortable during their visits. Karla enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and two grandchildren, and takes yearly trips to the beach.
Heather
Heather graduated from D.A.T.S dental assisting program in 2006. She went on to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2016. Heather enjoys cosmetic dentistry and helping patients achieve a beautiful smile. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 sons and 2 grandsons.
